Release 2026/08/03
In the current release the following changes are included:
Time recording pilot — approvals and permissions. The time recording pilot now supports an approval workflow for submitted times and a dedicated set of time-recording and billing permissions, alongside further polishing. If you would like to take part in the pilot, please get in touch with us.
Highlight Features
| Where? | What? | |
|---|---|---|
| 1.1 | Administration | Newly created projects and resource requests often start with empty resource-group fields — and later nobody can find or staff them correctly. A new "Field presets" page under Administration > Data fields lets you choose, per project and resource request, which resource-group fields (country, service line, business unit, location, legal entity, practice area) appear in the creation dialog and are pre-filled from the creator's profile, so visibility and staffing work from the moment something is created. Off by default. |
| 1.2 | decídalo MCP server | Your connected AI assistant can now take over more of the day-to-day work through the decídalo MCP server: when updating a profile, missing skills and roles can be created directly in the central catalogue, and bookings can be created straight from the conversation — so profile maintenance and staffing decisions no longer require switching into decídalo. As before, administrators control which roles may use these tools on the AI permissions page. |
Highlight Features (Preview)
Please note: these features are currently in beta and only visible if preview features are enabled. Administrators can enable preview features for selected roles on the permissions page.
| Where? | What? | |
|---|---|---|
| 1.3 | Projects | A new "Ongoing projects" page gives one staffing overview of all running projects. For each project it shows the planned effort (from the work packages) alongside what is actually booked and what is scheduled, and a warnings column points to staffing issues such as under-staffing, over-booking or bookings outside the project period — so problems can be spotted in one place instead of comparing bookings and the schedule by hand. |
| 1.4 | Project Plan (RM) | A new work-package planner tab on the project plan shows the project's work packages as a Gantt chart: work packages can be rearranged and nested via drag and drop, and the planned, booked, scheduled and recorded effort is rolled up across the hierarchy with plausibility warnings. Work packages can also be linked to team members and bookings, and show their recorded and remaining days. |
Minor Features
| Where? | What? | |
|---|---|---|
| 2.1 | Global Search | Searching by a person's name and pressing Enter now returns the matching profiles directly, without having to switch on the free-text search option. |
| 2.2 | Global | Filtering now behaves consistently across the resource plan, team utilization and search: the field picker lets you select several fields and apply them together, and the saved-candidates filter has moved into the search settings. |
| 2.3 | Resource Plan (RM) | Filters on the resource plan now combine with AND — adding another filter narrows the result instead of widening it. In addition, people can now be filtered by their profile data fields via a new filter drawer, both on the resource plan and in the team utilization report. |
| 2.4 | Resource Plan (RM) | The resource plan now remembers your utilization / availability filter, instead of resetting it on every visit. |
| 2.5 | Resource Plan (RM) | The "My schedule" page has new display settings to also show rejected bookings and team bookings. |
| 2.6 | Project Plan (RM) | The project plan toolbar was reorganized into a settings menu, including a new option to show soft bookings. |
| 2.7 | Projects (RM) | Start date, end date and number of candidates can now be edited directly in the resource-request grid on a project, without opening each request. |
| 2.8 | Candidate Search | The automatic extraction of resource-request requirements now also takes the request's subject, role, industry, country, location and career level into account, not just the description, for more relevant candidate matches. |
| 2.9 | Marketplace | The internal marketplace request list and "My applications" grids now show the same configurable data-field columns as the resource-request grid (confidential fields stay hidden) (beta). |
| 2.10 | Resource Plan (RM) | The project code is now included in the staffing report. |
| 2.11 | Profile | Certificates can now be marked as "top certificates" with the star icon, just like top projects, and are used for the "top certificates" section on CVs. |
| 2.12 | Profile | Skill levels on the profile's skills tab can now be set with a single click on the level chips, instead of through a dropdown. The skill list can also be exported to Excel — the export follows the filters currently applied in the grid. |
| 2.13 | Projects (RM) | Team leads can now staff their own team's team bookings from a project's team-members tab, without needing full project-edit rights (beta). |
| 2.14 | Projects | The "Allowed to grant project permissions" permission can now be granted per project, so a project manager can manage contacts on just their own project instead of on all projects. |
| 2.15 | Notifications | Applicants on the internal marketplace now receive an email notification when they are accepted for a request (beta). |
| 2.16 | Administration (RM) | Working-time patterns now support a different number of hours per individual day of the week instead of an even Monday-to-Friday split, so part-time and compressed-week schedules are planned correctly. Pre-filled planning and weekly booking rescheduling follow the person's actual daily distribution. |
| 2.17 | Administration | The retention period after which deactivated users are automatically deleted can now be configured per organization, for example to meet longer compliance requirements. This is not self-service — please contact support to have it adjusted. |
| 2.18 | Import API | Bookings imported via the API can be flagged as non-editable, so externally-managed bookings stay locked against changes in the application (administrators can still edit them). |
| 2.19 | Import API | The GET bookings endpoint can now be filtered by the booked user's legal entity (by ID or name). |
| 2.20 | Import API | A new GET endpoint returns the available employee types. |
| 2.21 | Import API | Users and teams now expose a flag indicating whether they were imported (matching projects and bookings). |
| 2.22 | Import API | Work packages can now be read and imported via the Import API, including their assigned people. |
Bug Fixes
| Where? | What? | |
|---|---|---|
| 3.1 | Resource Plan (RM) | We fixed the resource plan losing its date range on a page refresh, absences not being excluded when "Billable" was enabled, and the start date not moving to today when navigating from the team-member tab. |
| 3.2 | Resource Request | We fixed responsibilities not being inherited from the project in the global create dialog, no feedback being shown when a "feedback until" date in the past was entered, and an error when a request was deleted moments after editing its responsibilities. |
| 3.3 | Candidate Search | We fixed several search issues: skill requirements now show the actual skill-level name instead of the maximum, searches that could stall, the extraction of education requirements, deadlocks on very large requirement lists, cancelled requirements not being reset when a new search session was started, and the utilization period now being expanded by default. |
| 3.4 | Reporting | We fixed Power BI dashboards breaking when certain tables were empty. |
| 3.5 | Profile | We fixed the profile approval banner and the profiles grid disagreeing on whether a profile was approved — changes to publications, testimonials and training history are now tracked consistently across the grid, the banner and My Tasks. We also fixed the approval-workflow note still being shown when the workflow was deactivated, and the profile text-generation language not following the display language when "use display language" was selected. |
| 3.6 | CVs | We fixed several CV issues: an incorrect nationality translation on CV creation, an error caused by an orphaned bookmark in a docx template, a template replacement unintentionally re-assigning the template and updating the edit date, and PPTX-to-PDF export ignoring fonts embedded in the template. |
| 3.7 | Projects | We fixed the industry logo being shown as an editable text field on reference presentations, and an incorrect bullet point being added in project descriptions. |
| 3.8 | Notifications | We fixed the "project updated" email still being suppressed for other projects after you edited one of your own — the suppression is now limited to the project you actually changed. |
| 3.9 | Import API | We fixed the booking import not creating bookings the way the application does, and the booking import creating empty projects. |
The next release will be on 17th August.
