    Release 2026/08/31

In the current release the following changes are included:

Time recording pilot — invoicing policies and order controlling. The time recording pilot now supports named invoicing policies with minimum hours, rounding rules and maximum hours with splitting, which can be overridden per order or project. Orders can span multiple projects, and the order's customer no longer has to match the project's customer. Orders got an expiry date with validation warnings, and a new policy setting can forbid time recordings outside the valid date ranges entirely. Recording entries can carry a comment visible in the servicesheet composer, issued and paid invoices can be inspected in a read-only composer, public holidays are marked in the timesheet, and a usability round improved position names, invoiced sums and the advanced search. If you would like to take part in the pilot, please get in touch with us.

    Highlight Features

    Where? What?
1.1 Companies The company list can now be cleaned up with AI support: start an analysis that suggests merging duplicate companies, fixing typos and removing junk entries, and accept or reject each suggestion individually. Before accepting a merge, an impact view shows the affected projects, profiles and bookings. Newly added companies can be analyzed right away, so the list stays clean as it grows.
1.2 Profile Absences and holiday calendars can now be managed directly on the profile's Settings tab. Everyone sees their own manual and imported absences in one list and can add, edit and delete manual absences — including half days via hours per day. Two new permissions control who may edit absences and whether imported absences may be overwritten. Holiday calendars now have validity periods: a person's calendar can change over time, and availability calculations use the calendar valid on each day. On the resource plan, hovering an absence shows what it is composed of — public holiday, working-time pattern, imported or manual.

    Minor Features

    Where? What?
2.1 Global Links can now point to a specific section of a page: opening a link with a section parameter scrolls directly to that section, starting with the sections of the profile overview.
2.2 Resource Plan (RM) The staffing report export now includes an "Availability next 3 months incl. soft bookings (%)" column next to the existing availability column, showing availability under the assumption that soft-booked engagements are confirmed.
2.3 Team Timeline (RM) The team timeline can now be filtered by employee type.
2.4 Resource Request Several candidates on a resource request can now be booked in one step: select them on the candidates tab and use the new "Book" bulk action. One shared dialog books all selected candidates with the same values and shows each candidate's utilization for the chosen period; candidates who already have a booking on the request are skipped.
2.5 Resource Request After accepting an application or a suggestion on a resource request, the booking dialog now opens directly for the accepted candidate (when you are permitted to create the booking) — accepting and staffing no longer are two separate steps.
2.6 Resource Request Users assigned as requestor on a resource request can now open the request — including via the notification email links —, review candidate suggestions from My Tasks and, with edit permission "Own data" or higher, edit the request, without needing broader request permissions. The scope descriptions on the permissions page explain the requestor's reach.
2.7 Projects (RM) A dummy booking without a resource request can now also be staffed by team: the new "Staff by team" option turns it into a team booking, next to the existing staff-by-name and create-request options (beta).
2.8 Projects (RM) The resource requests on a project's Requests tab can now be filtered by column, like on the requests page.
2.9 Marketplace Application statuses now follow the resource request lifecycle: when a request is completed or withdrawn, its open applications are automatically rejected — except candidates who are already booked — and open suggestions are cleaned up. Withdrawn applications are no longer shown in My Applications, and applications can be accepted or rejected directly from My Tasks (beta).
2.10 Candidate Search Searches started from a resource request now reuse the analyzed requirements — including your corrections — instead of re-analyzing them, so searches start faster and match the approved interpretation. Requirement weights, mandatory flags and their order are now also kept when re-running a search from the results page.
2.11 Candidate Search Requirements asking for a minimum number of projects (e.g. "in at least three projects") now show an analysis warning when the project count cannot be fully considered, instead of appearing fully matched.
2.12 Skills Skill descriptions can now be translated: the skills page offers a description column per language, and profiles show each skill's description in the viewer's screen language, with a fallback to the default language — just like skill names. Existing descriptions are carried over automatically.
2.13 Profile Employees can now see the changes on their own profile since the last approval and request approval from their team manager. The new "Request approval" email notification can be enabled on the Approval workflow administration page.
2.14 Profile The language selection for the profile text generation now groups the languages configured in the administration under "Common languages", with all remaining languages under "Other languages" and "Use screen language" on top.
2.15 CVs CV templates can now be ordered by drag and drop in the template library — the order also applies to the template selection in the create CV dialog.
2.16 Reporting The login statistics dashboard now offers a legal entity filter.
2.17 Notifications "Soft booking created" is now a separate email notification that can be subscribed to independently of reserved and confirmed bookings.
2.18 Administration A new Accounting Type field is available for projects and resource requests — activate it under Administration > Data fields. When active, bookings automatically receive the accounting type derived from the project's type.
2.19 Administration Company suggestions from Brandfetch can now be disabled under Administration > System settings > Feature settings, for organizations maintaining their own company lists. Suggestions remain enabled by default.
2.20 Administration The email notification for automatically suggested candidates can now be switched off separately from the "Automatic resource requests" setting.
2.21 decídalo MCP server Your connected AI assistant can now update resource requests and bookings — including linking the project and adding or removing candidates — with a consistent schema across reading, creating and updating. Reliability improvements make field names, clearing values and repeated updates behave as documented.
2.22 Import API New endpoints allow reading and importing custom holiday calendars with your own holidays; imported calendars can be selected in the app like the standard ones.
2.23 Import API The project and booking GET endpoints can now be filtered by the last-imported date, enabling incremental synchronization.
2.24 Import API Select-option fields such as business unit or practice area now return their stable ID in GET responses, and imports accept the ID as well — renaming an option in the app no longer breaks imports that use the displayed name.
2.25 Import API The sort order of work packages can now be imported and exported.

    Bug Fixes

    Where? What?
3.1 Global We fixed the create button in dialogs (for example, create project) being disabled when the dialog opens without any indication of what is missing — the button now stays clickable and marks the incomplete mandatory fields on click.
3.2 Global Search We fixed deactivated users appearing as name suggestions in the global search.
3.3 Profile We fixed the missing tooltip on skill level numbers (the level name is now shown on hover), the "Updated on … by …" information being hidden when the profile approval workflow is disabled, and the substitute selection timing out in large organizations.
3.4 Certificates We fixed the certificate export always exporting all certificates instead of respecting the active filters.
3.5 Projects We fixed changes to a resource group's managers not being applied to the project contacts, custom fields on reference presentations being created with wrong data types so that editing them could fail, and the booking subject not being validated as mandatory when creating a booking while adding a team member.
3.6 Marketplace We fixed an error when applying again after a rejected application — rejected applications now stay on record and cannot be submitted again (beta).
3.7 Notifications We fixed certificate expiration reminders not being sent in large organizations due to a timeout.
3.8 Administration We fixed the profile quality report exporting deactivated columns.
3.9 Import API We fixed a misleading error message when activating a login for a user with a pending registration, a server error instead of a validation message when a payload contained a deleted custom property, and deactivated users being reported as updated on every import run even when nothing changed.
3.10 Import API We fixed a resource request's placeholder booking not being cleaned up when a real booking import newly linked the request to the same project — importing a booking that takes over such a request (including via the V2-wrapper assignment-import endpoint, which now also establishes that project link), or a project link that adopts existing bookings, may now delete a pre-existing placeholder booking and its team-member row as part of a successful import.

The next release will be on 14th September.
