Respond to an RfP or fill a resource request
When you do this: a client has sent an RfP, or an internal project has opened a resource request. You need to find suitable consultants, attach them to the request, and produce the documents needed for the proposal.
Outcome: a resource request connected to a project with candidates attached, tailored CVs ready, and (if needed) a quotation and reference list.
Steps
- Make sure the resource request exists. If it comes from sales, the request is usually already in decídalo; otherwise create one against the relevant project. → Projects, Connecting Resource Requests to Projects
- Search for candidates. Use the candidate search to filter by required skills, role, availability, and language. → Candidate search, Search
- Check availability. Cross-reference the resource plan so you don't propose someone who's already fully booked. → Resource Plan, Working Time Patterns, Absences & Availability
- Attach the candidates to the resource request.
- Generate tailored CVs for the attached candidates in one batch. → Generating CVs for Resource Requests, Generate a CV for a project
- Produce the supporting documents for the proposal: quotation and reference presentations. → Quote a project or produce a reference

- Quote a project or produce a reference: the documents next to the CVs in the proposal.
