Generate a CV for a project
When you do this: you (or a resource manager / sales lead) need a CV tailored to a specific opportunity, project, or RfP. The CV draws from a consultant's profile but emphasizes the bits that matter for this engagement.
Outcome: a Word or PowerPoint CV in the company's template, with the right projects, skills, and roles featured.
Steps
- Make sure the profile is current. A CV is only as good as the profile it's generated from. → Complete your own profile, Profile
- Open the CV management page for the consultant. → Managing & Using CVs
- Pick the template that matches the audience (Word for long-form proposals, PowerPoint for one-pagers). → CV Templates
- Tailor the CV. Select which projects, skills, and roles to highlight; the AI can re-summarize project descriptions for the target audience. → Managing & Using CVs, Data Entry
- Generate the document. → CV Templates: Word, CV Templates: PowerPoint
- For a batch (one CV per candidate in a resource request), use the resource-request CV generator instead of generating one at a time. → Generating CVs for Resource Requests
Related scenarios
- Respond to an RfP or fill a resource request: the bigger flow that batch CV generation fits into.
- Quote a project or produce a reference: sibling documents (quotation, reference) you may also need.
